I think it's just because you know as adults in the workforce we work to make a living, right? Money talks basically and when you're just given a gold star it feels a little bit like elementary school, to be frank. These dollars can be used for whatever you want. That's one of my favorite things about Motivosity is you get such a wide variety of things you can spend it on. So for me I had been saving up and I cashed it out and spent it on my daughters for starting school. Getting new clothes and school supplies and that was money that didn't have to come out of my pocket that I had earned from friends. So for some reason it just meant more when I was able to share that with my daughters. They knew and they were like 'Oh these are from mommy's friends at work' and I'm lucky to have worked in places that really value family and encourage that sort of thing. So you know they knew the people that I had gotten these dollars from and they knew that it was because of that I'd done something good. Or that someone had appreciated something. I think that that helps to teach them that it's important, as well to see that as children. But, the money, it's just different. I don't quite know how to make it super tangible but it's real dollars. It's in your pocket. There's just something tangible about it compared to stars and sparkles. Although I love them, they are not exactly helpful in the corporate world.
