Motivosity to be lead sponsor of DisruptHR SLC

The Old Top-Down HR Methods Are on Their Way Out

Silicon Slopes, UTAH, May 2, 2018 - Motivosity, the company intent on helping people be happier at work, is the lead sponsor for the 2018 DisruptHR event being held in Salt Lake City, Utah Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

"Motivosity is the HR disruptor example for other companies to follow," said David Alsop, the event organizer and current senior director of human resources for Ultradent Products. "Old ways of thinking about HR in terms of process, compliance, and oversight have to go. Companies need organizations like Motivosity who advocate for employee-driven cultures where team members feel trusted, appreciated, and empowered to make a difference inside the business. HR professionals can play a significant role in creating this kind of culture, but it takes a bold, creative approach."

DisruptHR SLC follows the format of all DisruptHR events held in various cities around the country. Ten companies are invited to present on important employee-related topics. Each presentation is five minutes in length with slides automatically advancing every 15 seconds. The format keeps each presentation fast-moving and delivers an information exchange to energize people with a passion for talent and the human resource field.

Scott Johnson, CEO of Motivosity said, "The DisruptHR attendees are our kind of crowd. We look forward to being part of this group of HR professionals who take a fresh new look at how to empower employees to accomplish great things."

Culture can't be created from the top. To have a measurable impact, culture needs to come from the team members themselves. Motivosity is a platform that engages employees, trusting them to recognize and reward the great work happening around them.
