My recognition and previous jobs was typically the question of what toppings would you like on your pizza. My name is Abraham Salazar. I'm a benefits administrator for Hancock Health. We're a healthcare organization, everything from a hospital, and we also have outpatient and inpatient.
I had one manager tell me, hey, you get brownie points. What those brownie points add up for, I never found out. I have worked in a location that definitely had a bad culture. I was just method for them to make money.
Working for a company that has a great culture, really matters to me, because it's it's where I'm spending a lot of my time. My team and I are using Modovacity across our entire organization, and we have about fourteen hundred associates who are all in the platform, and we currently use it to recognize one another, to send out surveys to get a pulse for what's going on within the organization, how are people feeling? It was really simple to implement and it was just a smart choice for us to make. It allowed us to recognize our associates in such a easy, tangible way that we knew was gonna be a lasting thing for them.
From previously receiving no recognition at other employers to this employer where, you know, they can just log in and leave a comment you know, to remind me again of my of my role in the team and how I'm the little things that I do matter. And so you know, makes me happier, makes me feel productive, and makes me want to give more of my time, and and give my all to a team that I know is gonna be appreciative and supportive of my role.
