Welcome back! New year, same amazing product (with a few updates)!
We’ve been working on product enhancements that make it easier for administrators to manage, monitor, and optimize employee programs—and a better, more engaging experience for every team member in Motivosity.
We’ve delivered new capabilities that help you:
Every update and improvement we make to Motivosity connects back to one goal:
Helping you build a more connected, human workplace—from first day to last—without adding more work to your plate.
Let's dive in!

Just in time for Employee Appreciation Day, we're dropping something extra special. (For those who don't know, it's on March 6th!)
Meet Motivosity Replay: a Spotify Wrapped–inspired, year-in-review experience that turns recognition data into a bold, visual celebration of impact, appreciation, and culture.
Replay transforms platform data into a personalized recap that each employee can reflect on and proudly share. From the top core values they embodied to moments that defined their year, it’s a fresh way to spotlight the contributions that make your culture strong.
And, don't worry—if this isn't something you're interested in, admins can toggle it off for the org in Setup ahead of March 6th.

Motivosity Replay is an exclusive release available for Employee Appreciation Day and the week following. But we’re making it even more fun:
The first 50 people who post their Replay on LinkedIn on Employee Appreciation Day (March 6th) will receive $10 on us.
Your culture is incredible, so why not share it loudly and brag about it publicly?

Manual off-boarding inside recognition programs often create tension on both sides: rushed “cash out by end of day” messages, unclear handling of earned balances, extended access after termination, manual payroll adjustments, and administrative workarounds that complicate reporting and taxes.
With new, structured off-boarding controls in Motivosity, you can now protect the employee experience at exit while streamlining the administrative process from access management and reward cash-outs to financial reporting.

You can now define a clear post-termination access window and intentionally manage how earned spending balances are handled—including gifting departing employees the dollars they’ve earned (if you choose) through their personal email. Administrative complexity and burden is lightened, and an employee's final experience reflects the same care as onboarding.
The dollars in your recognition programs are real, and off-boarding shouldn’t blur the lines. Instead of manually sending farewell gifts from company budgets or absorbing unused balances in ways that distort reporting, you can maintain clear separation between company-funded rewards and employee-earned dollars—reducing accounting confusion and tax ambiguity.

Manual off-boarding processes create extra work. By defining a standardized, automated off-boarding timeline and process for your recognition and rewards program, you eliminate sketchy access extensions, rushed redemptions, and inconsistent handling across departures—keeping your program clean, consistent, and easier to manage at scale.
Module: Peer-to-Peer Appreciations

Data only matters if it's clear enough to drive action.
We've updated our Recognition Engagement Dashboard with a modernized, streamlined layout that makes it easier to see the health of your recognition program at a glance—without digging, decoding, or second-guessing what the numbers mean.
Quickly understand how appreciation is flowing across your organization. With clearer visual hierarchy and more intuitive grouping, you can immediately see who’s giving recognition, who’s receiving it, and where participation gaps may be forming so you can reinforce positive momentum or step in where support is needed.
Engagement risks shouldn’t hide in dense reports. The refreshed layout makes it easier to identify employees who haven’t been recognized or haven’t logged in, helping you proactively address disengagement before it impacts retention, morale, or performance.
Program engagement is a leading indicator of culture health, and the data should be easy-to-read and ready to share. With a more polished, executive-friendly design, you can confidently share insights with leadership and clearly demonstrate the impact of your recognition strategy.

We’ve redesigned the Motivosity login experience with a more modern, polished interface and expanded customization capabilities, so your recognition platform feels like a seamless extension of your company’s brand and culture—not a generic third-party tool.

The updated login experience introduces a cleaner, more contemporary design that feels intuitive and elevated. Every interaction—from the layout to the visual hierarchy—has been refined to create a smoother, more professional entry point into your recognition program.
Your recognition platform should look and feel like you. You can now customize theme colors, upload your logo, add a background image, and customize the welcome text—transforming the login screen into a visual reflection of your company identity. Instead of a neutral gateway, employees are welcomed into a space that feels uniquely yours and helps reinforce your culture from the very first login.
Module: Employee Milestones
Milestones are some of the most underrated moments in an employees' journey. Fully leverage the power of employee milestones by turning them into a bigger "hoorah" than just a routine post in the feed.
We’ve enhanced the milestone experience across desktop, mobile, and email to make birthdays and work anniversaries more visible, more interactive, and more meaningful—so celebrations drive real connection instead of blending into the background.

If you want employees to participate in something, make it fun! The updated design introduces a more prominent, visually-engaging layout that captures attention in the feed and across devices. Whether employees are browsing on desktop, logging in on mobile, or checking their inbox, milestones are now more visible and harder to scroll past.
Automation ensures consistency, but unified celebration amplifies culture. The new "Celebrate" reaction adds a layer of delight (confetti included 🎉) that encourages employees to engage in the moment and celebrate their peers. Clear calls to comment, react, or add a reward make it easier for managers and peers to actively participate rather than passively acknowledge the post.
Milestones should sound and feel like your company. With expanded customization capabilities, you now have greater control over the content and imagery for your automated milestones, allowing you to shape both the tone and visual experience to align with your unique culture.

From admin activity updates to leadership digests and system-generated alerts, notifications can quickly multiply—especially as your programs grow. With company-level notification controls, you and your CSM can shape how system communication flows across your organization, protecting attention without sacrificing visibility.
Admins and program owners don’t need constant alerts for every background action. By selectively suppressing certain system-generated notifications, you minimize operational noise and allow your team to focus on what truly requires attention.
Executive and manager notifications should deliver insight instead of overload. Company-wide notification controls help ensure leaders receive high-value updates, like meaningful recognition or actionable approvals, without inbox fatigue from routine system events.
With every release, our goal stays the same: help your people feel more connected, more appreciated, and more supported—while making your job easier.
If you’d like to activate any of these new features or explore what’s possible, your Motivosity team is here to help.
